Privacy Policy

Umayth LLC (“Umayth,” “we”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through umayth.net and our Service, how we use it, and your rights. It covers two groups: (a) visitors and customers of Umayth, and (b) end users — the callers and message-senders whose interactions our customers’ AI receptionist handles.

1. Information We Collect

From customers: name, business name, email, phone, billing details (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers), account settings, and support communications.

From website visitors: IP address, browser and device data, pages viewed, and cookie data (see our Cookie Policy).

From end users (callers/messagers of our customers): phone number, call audio and recordings, transcripts, voicemail, messages, appointment details, and any information a caller provides during the interaction. We process this on behalf of our customers as a service provider/processor; the customer is the controller of that data.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; answer and route calls and messages; book appointments; process payments; provide support; communicate with you; comply with law; and detect fraud and abuse. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve our AI models. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI Processing

Call audio, transcripts, and messages may be processed by third-party AI and telephony providers under contract to deliver the Service. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Details of subprocessors are in our Data Processing Addendum.

4. Sharing

We share information with: service providers and subprocessors (hosting, AI, telephony, Stripe for payments); our customers (for end-user data tied to their account); authorities where legally required; and successors in a merger or acquisition. We require providers to protect the data.

5. Call Recording Notice

Our Service may record and transcribe calls where our customer enables it. Our customers are responsible for providing any legally required recording disclosures to their callers. If you are a caller and have questions about a recording, contact the business you called.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Customers can request deletion of their end-user data; we delete or de-identify it within a commercially reasonable time unless retention is legally required.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under CCPA/CPRA in California or GDPR in the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@umayth.net. End users should contact the business they interacted with, since that business controls the data. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data in the U.S. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to processing there.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; the effective date shows the latest version.
